This type of digital hearing aid is usually the best for those with mild to moderately severe hearing losses, but it is up to the audiologist and the individual to decide which type is right for their situation. The completely in the ear canal type of digital hearing aid is usually only best for those with mild to moderate hearing loss since the hearing aid fits completely inside of the ear canal and the individual does not have access to volume control during the day.
